Rob Zombie's Hellbilly Deluxe 2 released

This week Rob Zombie’s long awaited Hellbilly Deluxe 2 was finally released in stores and for purchase online. Some have thought this album might be somewhat of a mirror to his original solo debut Hellbilly Deluxe, but anyone who’s listened to his new tracks can tell it’s most certainly not.

Rob has always had a ghoulish way of mixing different styles of rock music and classic horror together to form a completely different creature. And this album although quite unique, has that same beloved masterful combination his fans live to listen to.

From the monster movie themed song titles and lyrics, to the brutal riffs of John 5 and Piggy D., to the empowering drum solo(s) of Tommy Clufetos and the mesmerizing vocals of Rob himself, this I must say is some of their best work together.

Zombie’s music has been called ‘industrial-kissed spook-rock’, creepshow rock-n-rage’, and ‘blood-spattered metal’. Whatever the critics or the fans like to call it, I say bravo Rob – this album defines the new age term of “wickedosity”.

Hellbilly Deluxe 2 song line-up includes:
1. Jesus Frankenstein
2. Sick Bubblegum
3. What?
4. Mars Needs Women
5. Werewolf, Baby!
6. Virgin Witch
7. Death and Destiny Inside the Dream Factory
8. Burn
9. Cease to Exist
10.Werewolf Women of the S.S. (Yes like the faux movie trailer he developed for Grindhouse)
11.The Man Who Laughs

Zombie has hinted around this will probably be his last CD (due to the age of the digital download taking over), so get a copy while you can. For not only is the music consistently rockin’ and catchy (it literally makes you wanna get up and rock out/dance), but there’s also a booklet of lurid artwork included that’s absolutely extraordinary. And anyone who follows Rob’s work knows he collaborates with only the best in this spookshow rockin’ biz!
