The New Frankenstein?

According to Deadline New York and Sony Pictures, there is going to be a new take on the legendary monster.
This version won't be anything like Universal's classic "Frank" played by Boris Karloff. Instead, we can look forward to a contemporary version of the Mary Shelley novel.
Sound intriguing? I think anything remotely relative to the Frankenstein monster will hold my attention. I thoroughly loved Robert DeNiro's take in 2004's "Frankenstein."
We'll have to wait and see as no one is giving up any additional information, sneak peaks or stills as of yet.
