Seeds of the Col wild type, theaitr256triple,aitr1256quadruple,aitr23456quintuple andaitr123456sextuple mutants were sterilized and sown on 1/2 MS plates in the presence or absence of 2.5 µM ABA. The plates were transferred, after kept at 4 °C in darkness for 2 days, to a growth room. Pictures were taken 17 days after the transfer.bQuantitative assays of cotyledon greening of the Col wild type and theaitrmutants in response to ABA. Green seedlings were scored 17 days after the transfer, and percentage of green seedlings was calculated. The experiments were repeated three times, and similar results were obtained.
